Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

INFORMATION ABOUT OUR BATHROOM SHOWER MATS

How quickly do your bath mats dry after use?

It depends on the material, but every mat in our collection is chosen for quick drying. Most absorb water the moment you step off and return to a dry, fresh feel within minutes when left to air, so there is no soggy mat lingering by the tub.

Will these mats look good in a modern bathroom?

Yes. The collection spans clean minimal designs, soft neutrals and bolder patterns, so there is a match for contemporary bathrooms as well as more classic ones. Neutral tones sit beautifully next to white tiles and natural wood accents.

Are your bath mats suitable for daily use by the whole family?

Absolutely. They are made to handle repeated daily use, whether that is morning showers, evening baths or kids splashing about. Absorbent tops and stable non-slip bases mean they keep performing and looking tidy in busy family bathrooms.

How do I keep my bath mat clean and fresh?

Most of our mats can simply be rinsed or machine washed on a gentle cycle, and the care notes on each product page tell you exactly what suits that model. Let the mat dry fully between washes and it will stay fresh for a long time.

What do the different materials feel like underfoot?

Cotton and chenille feel plush and warm, memory foam adds cushioned comfort, and our soft diatomite mats feel smooth and slightly firmer while drying your soles in seconds. Each product page describes the feel of that specific mat.

Can I use these mats in a small or compact bathroom?

Yes. Many models come in several sizes, including compact and half-moon formats that sit neatly beside the bath or shower without crowding the room. Check the size options on the product page to find the right fit.

I want a more elevated bathroom routine - will a new mat help?

It is one of the simplest upgrades there is. Stepping onto a clean, dry, good-looking mat after a shower adds a small but real sense of comfort and order, the kind of detail that quietly lifts the whole room.

Engineered for Instant Water Capture and Lasting Grip

The core material, diatomite, is a naturally porous substance formed from fossilised algae. It pulls water out of your soles faster than most towels can manage. This rapid absorption cuts down on damp build, up, which in turn reduces slipping hazards. And the bottom? Fitted with a non-slip rubber base, it stays firmly in place even on glossy surfaces. That’s stability you can count on, every single morning.

Simple Care, Long-Term Performance

Material	Quick-dry top, Absorbent sponge layer, Rubber backing
Care instructions	Hand wash or gentle machine cycle
Key properties	Ultra-absorbent, non-slip, quick-drying
Size	Oversized footprint for full foot coverage
Texture	Natural matte finish with subtle grain

Classic diatomite comes as a rigid, 100% stone slab. For everyday life we chose a smarter build: a diatomite-coated top that dries your feet in seconds, a cushioning sponge core for comfort, and a full non-slip rubber base for safety.

100% diatomite stone slab	This soft multi-layer mat
Comfort	Hard and cold, like standing on tile	Soft, warm and cushioned, a pleasure barefoot
Drying	Near-instant, its one real advantage	Dries in minutes thanks to the diatomite top layer
Safety	Hard landing, can shift on smooth tiles	Full rubber base that grips the floor
Longevity	Cracks if dropped, needs regular sanding	Unbreakable, just rinse or machine wash
Delivery	Heavy and fragile in the post	Light, rolled up, arrives perfect every time

What you are buying here is the soft version: diatomite-infused fabric over a cushioned core with a non-slip rubber base, so it dries fast without the weight or fragility of a slab.

Prefer the genuine 100% stone slab anyway? We stock that too: see our Diatomite Stone Bath Mat.
